Your car battery plays a vital role in the running of your car and is responsible for powering your car’s computer, ignition system, lights, infotainment system and much more. Here’s some common signs of battery problems that you should keep an eye out for to help avoid an unexpected breakdown:
DASHBOARD WARNING SYMBOL
One of the most obvious signs that you have a battery problem is your battery symbol lighting up on your dashboard. The cause of this could be a loose starter terminal, damaged cabling or a failing alternator. If the light stays on once you start driving, it’s likely there’s a problem with your alternator belt – this part is responsible for charging your car’s battery whilst on the move.
