Purpose: Charles Trent Ltd is a leading supplier of warranted recycled auto parts and provider of vehicle management services with sites in Poole and Rugby. We are currently seeking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join our Finance department at our Head Office in Poole. The successful candidate will need to have recent Accounts Payable experience, together with the ability to work accurately whilst meeting deadlines. As part of a small team, the need for flexibility and good communication skills is vital.
Location: Poole Site, BH12
Salary: Up to £26,500 (dependant on experience & pro rata)
Working Hours: 30 hrs per week minimum (full time hours available)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
To ensure that supporting business systems are updated accurately
Coding & processing of supplier invoices onto SAP Business One
Reconciliation of supplier statements and investigation of any anomalies
Supplier payments by BACS and online banking
Ensuring that daily customer payments are made in an accurate and timely manner
Management of vehicle purchases – processing purchases invoices and making payment for these vehicles
Managing the finance email box
Liaising with colleagues at all levels across the business, including directors and department managers
General office administration
Answering the telephone and dealing with any queries
Cover for other roles in the finance department
Experience & Essential Qualities:
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
Attention to detail and highly numerate
Conscientious, organised and able to prioritise
Self-motivation and commitment; a “Can Do” attitude
Able to work to deadlines and to be adaptable to change
Ability to work flexibly, providing cover for colleagues when required
