Imagine your favourite Lego set... Now imagine it at 1:1 scale and best of all - you can drive it! After 1 year, 13,400 man hours and more than a million Lego Technic pieces later this simply astonishing project is the result.
Although it may look the part but from a performance standpoint, it doesn't quite stand up to the immense power of the non-plasticised Chiron. Instead of 1400+ bhp produced from the immense quad-turbo W16 engine it's got a slightly more pedestrian output of 5.3bhp - good for a blistering top speed of 12mph. Not quite 260mph but nonetheless an incredible feat considering the project features over 2000 Technic motors and 4000 gears.
The interior has been fully recreated and even features a fully working speedometer - made entirely from Technic pieces. Better yet, the outside features working light clusters and a fully-functional spoiler. Calipers and discs have been carefully constructed, as well as load-bearing parts. No glue was used in the construction which is a testament to the strength and durability of Denmark's finest export.
Whilst it may not boast the power of a regular Chiron it weighs about 500 kilos less! Question is, where can we get our hands on this set?
