It's safe to say that it's almost unrecognisable (apart from the embossed headrests if you look REALLY close) after being dismantled over a couple of days in our Poole workshop. The i8 features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, not too dissimilar from what you would find in a racecar. This not only saves weight but also offers greater stiffness.
