Here at Charles Trent we offer a range of convenient delivery services to ensure that you receive the parts you need fast and without hassle. Please refer to your appropriate location for a breakdown of delivery costs and additional delivery information. We can deliver UK wide and have a number of international shipping options available.
Please note: We cannot deliver to PO Box numbers.
We may use different courier companies depending on the item we are sending as these maybe parcels or pallets. Please note we do not use MyHermes or Yodel for any deliveries due to the level of service we have experienced in the past.
All UK mainland (excluding the Highlands & Islands) orders are free delivery unless stated otherwise. We aim to deliver your order within 2-3 working days from the time you place your order and you can track your parcel every step of the way.
Deliveries will arrive with you between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Your parcel is insured by Charles Trent Ltd during the time it is in transit and until it is delivered to you. A signature is required for every delivery and it is at this point where the responsibility of the goods delivered is passed to the consignee. Do not sign for damaged items. If the item is damaged or the courier doesn't give you time to check it sign for it and right damaged next to your signature. You can make the driver wait 15 minutes to check it.
Delivery will be completed when we deliver the products to the address you gave us.
Please note that all delivery times should be referred to as guidelines only and may vary during seasonal sale periods.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY
UK Mainland only. (Excluding the Highlands & Islands) and a small charge is made for this service.
We offer a service that if the order is placed by 2pm Monday to Friday you will normally receive your order the next working day. Sometimes this is not possible due to events outside of our control. See 'Late Deliveries'.
Please note that no deliveries will be made on Saturday (services are available see 'Saturday Deliveries'), Sunday or Bank/ Public Holidays as non-working days.
'Next day' delivery services aren't available for non-mainland addresses. However, we still offer a speedy service that ensures you will receive your parts order within 2-4 working days.
We offer international delivery covering the most popular European destinations. If you are interested in purchasing a part in our store and your country is not listed please email our expert parts team to get a bespoke shipping quote. Please note if you live on a Spanish Island you will be asked for more postage as this is not mainland Spain. Postage to France is for mainland France only and not French territories these will cost more, if you choose France for delivery and you live in a French territory we will detect this and ask you for more postage.
We offer a Saturday delivery for UK mainland customers in need of a part in a rush. The order must be placed before 2pm Friday. There is a small additional charge for this.
We use PayPal for all online part orders for security and ease of use. If you are looking to purchase a part but don't have a PayPal account you will need to contact us to make payment, when you comitted to buy you can contact us through our Business Seller Information and we can process your order. If you choose pay by Credit/Debit in eBay they do not automatically process this for you like they do with PayPal you have to contact us.
Our priority is to get your products to you as quickly as possible but we will not be liable to you for late delivery as we are dependent on our suppliers and shippers.
The company will do its best to dispatch orders promptly but we will not be liable to you nor pay you any Compensation for Late Delivery which is caused by:
We have every confidence in the used parts we provide for sale. Therefore, every part we sell comes complete with a 12 month warranty to offer peace of mind. This excludes engines and gearboxes, which will be covered by a 6 month warranty and tyres that come with a 3 month warranty.
In the event of failure a replacement part will be supplied. If a replacement part cannot be found in a reasonable amount of time the full purchase price will be refunded.
If you have ordered the wrong part, i.e. your part number is different, please return the item including a completed Returns Form (see 'Returns') requesting the correct part and we’ll do our best to get one out to you upon receipt. If the new part is unavailable we will refund your order and email to inform you. Return postage charges are non-refundable unless your order was faulty or we sent the wrong part.
Replacement or refund will only be given on production of the original invoice.
Replacement or refund will only be given if the goods are returned in the same condition as supplied with the security marks still visible.
Charles Trent Limited will not reimburse any labour costs / charges involved with fitting, removal and / or changing of parts supplied by the company, under any circumstances.
Charles Trent Limited will NOT cover any component which has been dismantled or tampered with (other than the replacement of standard service parts or components). Returns are void if you have dismantled or tampered with a part in any way.
Please note: We strongly recommend that all safety critical parts are fitted only by specifically trained automotive technicians. NO liability can be accepted for malfunction, damage or injury caused by inappropriate fitting of such components.
Engine Warranty Terms and Conditions
Every 180 day engine warranty we provide includes the terms and conditions listed above as well as the following:
Engines must be correctly fitted with new cam & auxiliary belts, oil, oil filters & spark plugs. Any failure to follow these terms will invalidate this warranty.
Engines are sold as bare engines less starter motor, alternator & gearbox. Any ancillary/service parts supplied with engines including water pumps, cam belts, turbos etc have NOT been tested & are provided free of charge. These parts are NOT covered by any warranty supplied by Charles Trent Limited.
ECU’s & electrical items are non-refundable as a result of potential damage caused by in-correct fitting or other faults in customer vehicles.
Our Charles Trent Limited warranty does NOT cover: Gaskets, Oils, Seals, Cam Belts, Timing Belts and Fan Belts, Any ancillary parts or damage caused by misuse, improper fitting, neglect, accident or continued use.
We hope that you are completely satisfied with your order from Charles Trent Limited but appreciate that there may be a time that a part needs to be returned to us. Simply return the part/s in their original condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund. We will issue a refund upon receipt and examination. Items should, wherever possible, be returned in their original (or similarly robust) packaging with a completed Returns Form.

For items damaged in transit notification must be made through our store within 24 hours and images supplied of packaging and part to enable claims to be processed. Click here to make our team aware of an issue
Any deliveries which fail through no fault of the courier or seller will incur return charges, these are billed to Charles Trent Limited and WILL be passed on.
Please note we are not penalising anyone for making a mistake or changing their mind, simply passing on the charges we incur.
International returns please note: If you are returning anything to us from outside the EU you must complete a customs declaration correctly indicating that the package contains “returned goods” or similar. If your parcel is stopped in UK customs and a charge levied, we will refuse payment and the package will be returned to you. Under no circumstances will we pay customs duty in order to receive back our parts.
If you are completing an international return email our aftersales team to book in the faulty/incorrect return. We will then advise and assist you with the return. Please include as many details as possible about the fault.
If you have received your order and an item is missing, please first check your dispatch note for any indication that the item is being dispatched separately. If the item is not included on the dispatch note, it will be arriving separately. If the item is listed but not present, please email us quoting your order number and stating the missing item and we will investigate the matter further.
